Jet is a small compact bitch of sound temperament and high levels of intelligence, and who has proven herself to be at home in the shooting field and in the competition field.
With her excellent nose and marking abilities, and who is fast across all forms of country - she has never been known to miss a retrieve.She is brave in all forms of cover and very eager to please. She has been an absolute pleasure to train - and has known what to do and what we were going to do - before we knew what we were doing. She has always been the cheeky, funny character keeping the group of trainers amused with her antics and intelligence and sheer enthusiasm for work and life in general. She is definately one of lifes delightful characters.
When we introduced Jet into working tests last year we was very pleased with the results. She is showing great potential and consistency in her work, and when been entered into tests we was pleasantly supprised that she was in the run off for first place - in the second test she'd ever been entered into. In total she has been entered into 9 working tests and has won 6 awards.
Jet will also be picking-up on local shoots throughout the winter months where she is a valuble and experienced member of our picking up team.
Jet was also a natural when she gave birth to her first litter of 10. Her total love and devotion for her pups carries on even today as we have kept 2 of her pups for ourselves. Their kennel names are Peniglen Thistle (Cedar) Hips 6 - 5, Elbows 0 - 0 Clear Eyes
Peniglen Mackintosh (Glen) Hips 8 - 3 Elbows 0 - 0 Clear Eyes.
