Open Working Test Award Winner

++ On 30th May 2010 Boss was entered into an Intermediate Cold Game Test held
by the URC North Midlands Area at Carlton Towers, North Yorkshire.
There was an entry of 24 dogs, in the morning there was 3 seen marked retrieves,
and in the afternoon there were 3 blind retrieves which boss completed, they then
made the cut followed by a walk-up with 2 more retrieves which boss
completed with ease. Boss proudly gained 1st place with 155 points out of 160.
He will be entered in more Open Working Tests throughout the year and
Field Trials this coming winter.
++ On 24th April 2010, Boss was entered into an Open Test held by the Yorkshire
Golden Retriever Club at Timble Ings, Timble, Nr Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
There was 40 Open dogs in total. Boss proudly gained 2nd Place with 52 points
out of 60. He is to be entered in more Open Tests throughout the year.
++ On 10th April 2010, Boss Went along to a Training and Informal Match Day
held by the URC Lincs Area. Thoroughly enjoyed the day - both the training
in the morning - and then onto the match in the afternoon. Boss was entered
into an Open Informal Match, which he proudly gained second place
only dropping 4.1/2 points out of 80.
++ On the 7th March 2010 we entered Boss in his 5th Working Test held by the URC
(Lincolnshire Area) where there was an entry of 42 dogs, Boss made the cut at dinner
with 73 points out of 80 - joint top on points. There was then a walk-up which he
completed with ease which then made it down to the run-off. Boss gained 1st place
which now makes him a Novice Working Test Winner. He will be competing in
Working Tests at Open level this summer and then Field Trials later this year.
++ We entered Boss into a Novice Cold Game Test held by the Dukeries Gundog Club
on the 2nd August 2009. He was joint first place with 161 points and was therefore
in the run off for first place. The test was a blind retrieve at around 250 yards on
rough land. The result - Boss gained a respectable second place out of an entry
of 23 dogs. We are very pleased with this result and with Boss's progress so far.
++ On the 20th July 2008 Boss gained a creditable 4th place in his first ever working test
from an entry of 20 dogs. It was held by the United Retriever Club (Lincolnshire Area).
Ian also won the Lincolnshire Area Shield for Best Handler.
(Boss will be entered in more Open Working Tests this summer and Field Trials later this year).

Novice Working Test Award Winner

++ On 13th June 2010 we entered Jet in a Novice Working Test held by the Pennine
Training Area of the Northern Golden Retriever Association at the Hoyles Farm,
Strines, Nr Sheffield. There was an entry of 29 dogs in total, Jet proudly gained
3rd place. There was 2 tests in the morning ,1 was a straight marked retrieve at
around 200 yards, the 2nd test was a mark and a blind, you had to retrieve the
blind first. Then we had a break for lunch, and in the afternoon there was
3 more tests, first a water test ,then a walk-up with a retrieve front and back,
and the last test was a blind down a hill side. Jet is going to entered into
more test this summer.
++ On 8th May 2010 we went along to a training and Informal match day held by the
URC Linc's Area at Atterby, North of Lincoln. Boss enjoyed the Open training session
in the morning which was a walk-up and water retrieving, and then Jet was entered
into the Novice Informal Match in the afternoon. She gained 55 points out of the
maximum of 60 points which placed her in the run-off for second place -
which she won.
++ On 2nd May 2010 we entered Jet in a Novice Working Test held by the Pennine
Training Area of the Northern Golden Retriever Association at Adlington, Nr Chorley,
Lancashire. There was 35 dogs in total, Jet gained a Certificate of Merit
we are very pleased with this result as this is only the 3rd Working Test that she
has been entered into.
++ On 1st May 2010 we entered Jet in a Novice Working Test held by the Yorkshire
Golden Retriever Club at Addingham Moorside, Nr ilkley, North Yorkshire.
There was 20 dogs in total, Jet made the cut after dinner and was in a walk-up
with 8 dogs which she completed, so she was then in the run-off for first place.
Jet proudly gained 2nd place and we are very pleased with this result, as this is
only the second Working Test that she has been entered into.

++ We have introduced Tosh to his first Working Test (held by URC Linconshire Area)
held at Special Puppy Level on the 19th July 2009 - he thoroughly enjoyed the day,
and proudly gained a Certificate of Merit,
